PRINCIPLES OF RELEASE AND RECOVERY

SENDING LEADERS TO PLANT AND LEAD CHURCHES

MATT. 6:33  “BUT SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THESE OTHER THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU”

ISA. 9...  “AND OF THE INCREASE OF HIS GOVERNMENT AND OF PEACE THERE SHALL BE NO END.”

GOD IS LOOKING FOR LEADERSHIP SEED BEDS...

GOD IS LOOKING FOR THE TIMOTHY’S IN YOUR MIDST....

GOD IS LOOKING FOR THE BARNABAS AND PAUL’S FROM YOUR TEAM....

I.  THE KEY TO KINGDOM EXPANSION IS STEWARDSHIP.

A.   STEWARDSHIP SAYS, GOD IS THE OWNER AND I AM THE STEWARD.

B.    NONE OF WHAT I LEAD IS MINE; GOD OWNS EVERYTHING.

C.    I AM A STEWARD OF THE PEOPLE OF GOD.

D.    GOD WILL INCREASE WHAT I STEWARD, ONLY IF I AM FAITHFUL AND WISE WITH

WHAT I HAVE ALREADY BEEN GIVEN TO OVERSEE.

E.    A GOOD STEWARD IS PROFICIENT IN THREE ASPECTS OF STEWARDSHIP, THEY

       ARE... SENDING, RECEIVING, MANAGING

 II.  SENDING

              A.  SENDING MISTAKES— Timing, Forecasting, Planning, Communicating

1.     Forecasting— The more you are responsible for, the further into the future you

        must see.

        2.     Lack of Wisdom and Information

Prov. 13:16   Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool displays folly.

Prov. 12:11   He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who pursues

                                                                    vain {things} lacks sense.

Prov. 12:15   The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who

                                                                     listens to counsel.

Prov. 14:15   The naive believes everything, but the prudent man considers his

                                                                     steps.

Prov. 14:16   A wise man is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is

                                    arrogant and careless.

3.     Poor Planning

Prov. 21:5   The plans of the diligent {lead} surely to advantage,

But everyone who is hasty {comes} surely to poverty.

4.     Timing - Knowing or senseing when to release... Holding on to someone for too

long, or releasing and sending to early. This is an art or feel, where you depend on

the grace and anointing of God.

  III.  MANAGING

           A.  MANAGING/LEADING, ASSIGNING, SUPERVISING.... sending does not just happen, it is

                 planned for.

1.  Managing the team... Lead your team as if every person were replaceable...what would you do if you no longer had your key person... cross train

2.  Assigning...

Train your team members to there highest level of  proficiency...make the most of your

                                their ministry...

Train them as if they were going to be going out one day...

Remember we are always going to send our best...

                                3.  Supervising...

Know the ability level of your members...discern when they go up in skill...Know what

                                they are really doing...

Make sure that you are the kind of leader you would want them to be if you were working

 for them...

After you send you must stay close for at least 2 years to insure the success.  You are

responsible for the ones you send...

3 levels of responsibility...sending, blessing, releasing

 IV. RECEIVING

             A. RIGHT MOTIVES LEAD TO RECEIVING.

JOHN 4:3 YOU ASK AND RECEIVE NOT, BECAUSE YOU ASK TO CONSUME IT UPON YOUR OWN LUST (PLEASURES)

Prov. 16:7   When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to

 be at peace with him.

             B.  PURE MOTIVES ARE MY SPIRITUAL PROTECTION. I CAN HANDLE MORE RESOURCES

             WHEN MY HEART IS CLEAN.

Prov. 16:1   The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the

                                LORD.

Prov. 16:2   All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, But the LORD weighs the

                                motives.

Prov. 16:3   Commit your works to the LORD, and your plans will be established.

MATT. 6:33   SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.

             C.  USE FAITH AND AUTHORITY TO RECEIVE....

Believe in young or unassigned leaders/ use your faith

When they do good say, “That’s Good”.... when they do bad say,  ” That’s Bad...don’t do that again... / use you authority

Test....Hand out Crosses.... don’t feel obligated to pay for.... all must come in thru sacrifice.

             SOME PRACTICAL WISDOM

         1.     ALL MUST WAIT TO BE SENT...THIS IS A PROCESS

         2.     NO LEADER BEING SENT MAY RECRUIT OUT OF THE FLOCK

         3.     THE DEPARTING LEADER MUST REFER INQUIRIES TO THE ELDERS

        4.     WHEN OR IF YOU TRANSPLANT PEOPLE OVER LONG DISTANCES...IT USUALLY DOES

NOT WORK...GOD SENDS LEADERS... NOT SHEEP....

      5.     YOUNG LEADERS WILL WANT TO GO ON NEW MISSIONS OUT OF WRONG MOTIVES....

                QUICKER PATH TO MINISTRY...”MY MINISTRY”

        6.     YOUNG LEADERS WILL OFTEN WANT TO FLUSH EARLY...
