About Us

Hi, my name is Steve Youngblood and I love Jesus and His Church. Over the past 30 years I have given my life to see His glory revealed in the earth through His people. I am convinced that the local church is the primary vehicle God has chosen to accomplish His will and purpose. It is His bride, His dwelling place, His body, His building, His city on a hill; He is the head of the Church and He is coming back for the Church. I can think of no better way to give my life than by endeavoring to work with Him who said..."upon this rock I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it."

Every person on the planet has a place to serve and thrive in the body of Christ. It is where you find your destiny, your true life's calling!

What Makes Me Tick

Family - being with Sheryl, my wife of 30 years...she's awesome! Hunting and fishing or hanging out with my son Steven (17), going on a date or doing anything (except shopping) with my daughters, Bekki (27) and Rachel (23)! Wow now we have a new addition and he is my new best friend, Rachel gave birth to Jayden in October of 2007 and we are so proud to have this little guy in our family...pictures are coming soon.

Ministry - training leaders, making disciples, planting churches, preaching, pastoring, traveling, praying, reading the Bible...and spending time with God. I love it when folks want to get together just to talk about the Kingdom of God. I am immensely more interested in being the church rather than simply "having" church! Recently I have been immersed in ministry to the poor, hungry, disenfranchised and those living in the margins. There will be more I have to say about this subject as the future unfolds.

Personal Stuff - Trout fishing with my friend Phil Lilly ( www.lilleyslanding.com), hunting deer, turkey, and small game. Fishing - trout, bass, crappie, catfish...love the fly rod. Playing the guitar, writing music, reading everything, grilling in the backyard, having freinds over for fellowship, listening to older saints talk about their walk with Jesus, hearing brand new believers talk about their walk with Jesus, praying, reading the Bible, worshipping... and sleeping on a rainy day!
