Face of Hunger - Face of Hope Seminar
The Central Missouri Food Bank (CMFB) is a regional disaster and hunger relief network that acquires and distributes millions of pounds of donated food through a network of 145 agencies in 33 Missouri counties.
CMFB provides free food to soup kitchens, emergency food pantries, and shelters for the abused and homeless, programs for low-income children and senior citizens, and rehabilitation centers.

Speakers:
Peggy Kirkpatrick – Peggy is the Executive Director of the CMFB located in Columbia, MO. This is her 16th year with the Food Bank and during those years food distribution has increased from about 2 million to over 21million pounds per year under her leadership. Peggy is a committed Christian and her faith is evident in every aspect of her life.
Bishop Harold Long – Bishop Long has been in ministry in the Paris, MO area his entire adult life.
He has ministered all over the nation, but his heart is always drawn to the place where he was raised as a child. Bishop Long has been involved with CMFB for several years through his ministries food pantry. His vision is to lift people out of poverty through the gospel of Jesus Christ and faith in action.
Pastor Ken Goyer – Pastor Ken has ministered in Northeast MO for many years. He has started two successful food ministries in partnership with the CMFB. Currently, he is ministering in Clark County, and is the Director for the Clark County Food Closet. Through this ministry more than 800 people per month receive much needed food.
Promise Land Choir – You will enjoy the music from the Promise Land Choir. Paul Washington is the
pastor of ‘Promise Land Family Church’ in Monroe City, MO. This local church is also involved in feeding hungry people in their area. We appreciate them blessing us with their hearts of compassion through music.
Driving Directions:
The Church is located in Quincy, Illinois, at 2901 Payson Road, on the south side of the city. It's between South 24th and 36th streets.
From downtown Quincy, drive east to 24th street and turn right. Continue south on 24th, turning left onto Payson Road. The church is on the left side of the road.
From Hannibal, MO, drive east on 36 (turns into (72), exit on 172 towards Quincy. Take the 36th street exit (Hwy 96/Payson Rd), and turn left at the stop sign. Follow Payson Road staying straight when the road curves right into 36th. The church is on the right side of the road.
